We may be looking for 4-6 reliable people (including 1-2 with pickup trucks or cargo vans) for a recurring monthly gig at a shooting sports facility in Boulder City, at BRPC. 4th weekend every month.
The work: Loading, transporting, and setting up targets and range equipment on Friday afternoon, then tearing down and returning everything after the event on Sunday morning. Setup includes following directions both written and verbal, and includes staking target stands and wall stands. Most items are fairly lightweight, but there may be some steel targets that are heavier. Everything will be provided by the club; we just need 1-2 trucks and 4-6 people.
You need to be comfortable with sustained manual labor. Truck owners will handle hauling; others provide muscle for loading, unloading, and setup.
Time commitment: Approximately 2 hours on Friday early/late afternoon + 2 hours on Sunday afternoon, once per month.
Pay: $100-150 per person per day. Truck owners receive a premium. Total budget $400-800 per match day.
What we need:
1-2 people with reliable pickup trucks or cargo vans.
3-4 additional laborers able to follow written and verbal directions to set up stages.
Punctuality is essential -- this is a time-sensitive event with a hard start time.
Must be available both Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon of the same weekend
Obviously, we would prefer people who are shooters and competitive shooting in particular. Free entry to the match will be included.
