Hello,

I really want a rack grade or the next grade up Garand and I saw that the prices of K31s are getting so high due to the supply running out. A gunsmith told me I could get lucky and get one traded for an M1. I also have a Walther P38 AC42 war time that I would part with, as well as a Sino Soviet SKS. Thats the pick of the litter.

The K31s are both rated VG and the trade will include sling and 120 rounds of 7.5 Swiss Gp11, original. The P38 I dont know the rating, the Sino Soviets are well barreled but have stock scratches from assumed theater deployment to Vietnam either as Chinese aid or i China herself invaded in 79.
I have seen K31s going above 700. So if you happened to order extra Garands you dont shoot, I am hoping to trade you something you can.

Pics are in lower replies, I am looking for a rack grade or slightly better Garand. Depending on your garands grade we can do a K31 and one of the other mentioned guns for it.

Prices for K31s and Sino Soviet SKS are around tbe same as service grade garands when there were plenty, so I am hoping someone might have bought an extra that works well but just leaves it locked up. I also included a pic of a Yugo SKS in case they interest you more.

All the rifles mentioned in your post are excellent MilSurp collectibles - hopefully you find the right person to work out a trade with -

Pics of your rifles might help generate more interest -

(and to be honest, I just want to see the gun-porn, lol)

K31 bayonet and both Sinos. If anyone wants to see the Yugo let me know. All rifles and pistols are excellent to shoot, I honestly never would let them go but I have wanted a Garand since I was 10 and they are not getting any cheaper. When I had my CR active, CMP had none left and the rack grades were 300 bucks, Service not much more. Now with so few coming in the prices have doubled and tripled in some cases. Luckily, so have the prices of these.

If anyone wants to try to work something out I am open to meet at a range, let eachother see weve got what we want by firing off a few groups, and hopefully draw up a bill of sale and be on our merry way.

Sorry for breaking the rules and posting again but heres the Yugo. Original mag also present and would either come too or be swapped out if someone doesnt want the 20rd. I put the grenade ladder sight up and fixed the bayonet intentionally for the picture. Full disclosure, when I first got it it was very ammo picky. I swapped the gas system o ring and its taken every brand of ammo since. I have the original o ring as well if someone were to want it, just know with it installed it will only shoot pmc ammo.

More close up pics of the P38?

Here ya go, its in a little rough shape but theres no rust and its never jammed on me. The pic with the waffenampt hopefully shows all 3 marks. I figured if someone had a service grade or better and wanted it with the 31 that it would be ok, or straight up world war 2 shooter for a shooter. I paid 500 for it from Classic, shouldve got the hand select but all in all its been a good pistol. I have either 2 or 3 extra mags and a P1 holster for it.
