I am wanting a new project. I want a rifle I can bring back to life or repurpose. I have an end result in mind, but need a starting point that isn’t going to cost a ton. I have a few AR-15 parts to trade and/or some cash to use, but I am looking for a bolt, ideally, or semi auto that is not an AR or AK. Doesn’t have to be a certain age, but I need/want something with a removable mag. Prefer .308, .223, or 30-30, but really open to anything where the ammo isn’t hard to find and/or reload. I am looking for something under a $400 value max, but the cheaper the better, closer to $250 or less, unless it meets every thing I’m looking for. If you have questions I have no problem answering them here, but PLEASE PRIVATE MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE AN OFFER, don’t want to have to compete against others.
