I'm looking for an Ithaca Model 37 Police Special Shotgun, 12 ga. 18 inch barrel preferably with the slug sights. It doesn't have to be pristine, just serviceable.

It looks like you're after the Ithaca Model 37 DS Police Special. It appears the DS police guns are much more uncommon than those with a bead front sight and are selling in the $700 - $900 range at auction lately. Good luck with your search!
 
I have a Ithaca DS Bead sites,. Long magazine tube. Steel receiver I looked a long time to find it I'd probably take 750 for it.
