Griffin Bushwhacker.jpg

Designed with compatibility in mind, Griffin’s Bushwhacker 46 is the silencer for any platform. The Bushwhacker is considered a universal suppressor because of its ability to run on almost any host firearm. If you’re looking for extreme versatility without the compromise of sound performance, this jack-of-all-trades silencer takes its versatility a step beyond its cousin, the Griffin Optimus, and adds large bore .45 caliber hosts as well as .338. With the assistance of the included tools, the patented ratchet-LOK end cap system makes disassembly a cinch. No matter what caliber you send down range, the removable patented High Efficiency Dual Purpose (HEDP) baffles not only provide balanced suppression, but also excellent serviceability.
Constructed of 17-4 stainless and titanium, the Bushwhacker offers durability everywhere it counts. The Bushwhacker supports a 3-lug QD kit in 9 mm and semi-auto handgun calibers up to .45ACP using the booster piston housing. But the list doesn’t stop at pistols, rifle calibers from .22 up to .45-70 Govt and even .338 LM mean this silencer is just as comfortable on your .458 SOCOM as it is on your Glock 19. This well-rounded silencer is ready to perform at your beck and call.

Read some of the early reviews. This can is looking interesting for someone that might be looking at a "I'm only buying one can" situation.

User serviceable!

No doubt and for the price (MAP applies) it looks like a good choice. Might need to stock some of these locally if there is demand for it.

Forgive my ignorance with this, but how well can a single suppressor work for calibers as small as .22 and as large as .45? Seems like there would be some compromise somewhere that would make it more advantageous to just get one for the specific caliber.

The sound suppression for the smaller calibers is not as good as a dedicated suppressor for the smaller caliber, but it does work as the air volume being pushed has a lot more dispersion with the larger suppressor. That being said we personally recommend that anyone shooting 22 use a dedicated can due to the 22 being a dirty round, and requires a lot more cleaning than most other rounds.

That makes good sense - thanks for clarifying!
