Bob's Standard Disclosure:
Located in Pahrump. Can deliver as a secondary reason when doing a visit to LV for Drs, etc but on my schedule. I am on the south end of Pahrump, 45ish minutes from Ft Apache and Blue Diamond and 60ish minutes from the top of Charleston. You are always welcome to visit Pahrump for the transaction, of course. I will be having knee removal and replacement on June 2nd so after that the transaction will have to take place in Pahrump for 6-8 weeks. C&R is welcome.
$2000
For Sale only, no trades at this time.
What we have here is an International Harvester M1 Garand with a serial number in the 512xxxxx range. This gun was originally purchased in 1999 from CMP. When ordered it was sold as a select grade. The wood and metal is in good shape. The bolt is a SA bolt, the trigger group is IHC with a HRA safety. I have not torn it down past that. This gun was owned by a WW2 vet who wanted it because of the fact he carried a M1 through Europe. I do not believe he shot it much at all. Included in the sale is a repro ammo belt loaded with charged enbloc clips (10), another two charged enblocs and 14 more empty enbloc clips. It has the Certificate of Authenticity from CMP and the US Army Tech Manual. I took out a couple of rounds from an enbloc and it was Lake City brass. I was surprised, I didn't know LC made soft point 30-06 but I guess they did at one time.
From CMP as to the grading they used.
"Select Grade: Metal finish is very good to excellent and the stock will have fewer dents, gouges and bruises (than the Service Grade). Assured bore condition. Throat erosion will not exceed 2 (minor wear).
Pictures will be taken on request via PM. I have not cleaned the gun, only took the trigger group out to see manufacturer.
