Looking at Ford Transits and Mercedes Sprinters. Maybe a Ram ProMaster, but I've not seen one up close. I like that the Sprinter still has a diesel engine, unlike Ford. Here's the hard part, though. It's for ME, not an employee. It would be a daily driver, even though loaded with work tools. I want all the amenities up front, but a cargo or work-type in the back. No need for windows or seats back there.

I've been driving a 2017 Ram 3500 diesel dually with all the options, so I already know I'll be downgrading up front, but the less the better.

I'll also be wanting to sell the pickup. I love the big pickup, but I only need to work out of one thing, and I'm really wanting the advantages of an enclosed van these days.

So, this is a long shot, but I'll throw it out here if anyone has a van available, or has connections with dealers who have them. I've been in touch with Friendly Ford (only a very basic cargo model available) and Mercedes of Henderson (saw a nice one there). I'm actually surprised they aren't offering to budge a bit on either their selling prices or the way low trade-in offer. They must be meeting all their quotas, even though they keep contacting me every few days to see if I'm ready. Having grown up in Clark County, I'm not too keen on buying anything from a Fletcher Jones outfit.

You may with to check internet sale from out of state.

A friend bought a specific car, very sporty model, limited production, he was looking for and was able to come under all local dealers on the bottom line. He said there was a good savings. Iirc he said they delivered.

If it doesn’t work out, not too much is lost. Just a little time.

Good luck Mac!

I've seen a few online, and am in touch with a couple dealers, including the big Pacific Auto Center in Fontana, where I almost bought my last pickup before getting lucky and finding the one I wanted in Las Vegas. One of the biggest hold ups is the low wholesale trade-in they offer. I may need to just get serious and sell the truck privately first.

Friendly Ford has never been friendly to me.... Always the highest prices in the area....
