🔥 Invented Fire 🔥
We just had our 4th member in recent months have his account here hacked, and his Trading Post Ad(s) taken over, a deal was made between a buyer and the hacker, not the real account owner, and the payment form that was asked for was PAYPAL, (Hacker has also asked in the past for Venmo, CashApp, Money Orders), PAYPAL sends the buyer a note saying the account is a scam, hacker gets mad, says that's just what they say when you do a lot of business with them, when buyer smells a rat and backs out, Hacker leaves them a negative feedback.

I encourage all of you to turn on 2nd level AKA Two Step verification here on the forum and use a good strong password.

Don't use the same password for any two things, like here and email, etc.

That's how a couple of accounts here got hacked, someone got their email password, then used that to scan their emails and found other sites to try it on.

If you think your account has been hacked, let us know.
If you think another member has had their account hacked because suddenly PM's from them sound different / wrong, let us know.

All information on the hackers has been / will be forwarded to the FBI Cyber Crime Division, the US DOJ, the NSA and the BATFE since these hackers are trying to either scam money for a gun or buy one.

To turn on the 2 Step Verification, click on your screen name in the blue bar at the top of the screen.
In the drop down box, select Account details, then select Password and Security, then at the top of that screen you will see the two step verification on and off box.
