For Trade is this orphaned remnant from the late 80s/early 90s. Used to have a Mini-14 that was a good companion through the AWB era, but has long since been sold on and this one somehow evaded being part of that deal.
This is a steel 30-round .223 mag, marked "U.S.A. Magazines" on the floorplate. I remember buying a bunch of these at a gun show at Cashman Field in '95, and I'm guessing this is one of them. I don't ever remember having any issues with these, although the internet searching I did today was very mixed on the USA brand. Some really liked their steel durability, others thought the springs and followers left something to be desired.
It is in overall good condition, but has three small dents in the right side and some little superficial rust spots around the floor plate area. I loaded and unloaded the mag and the dents didn't impede either of those operations, but since I don't have the rifle anymore I wasn't able to shoot it and check. Someone handy with a block and a peening hammer could easily fix them.
Sale value is $20, but would rather trade for a mag that works in:
