Glock Special Order Update

Ok...so here is the list so far. I had several inquiries but havent heard confirmations so I want to use this to get a final count for anyone that is interested. PLEASE post on here "Im In" for confirmation of moving forward. I will use this to keep everyone up to date on the status. I will have more information as of tomorrow on the timeline. If you have questions please see my other post or send me a PM. Again, I would only like confirmations on here to keep it simple. Thank you!

Update

update....i have been asked what kind of time frames are we looking at from deposit to delivery. Here is how it will work. Once I set a final payment date, I will place the order the following day. It will take Glock about a week to process the paperwork. Once approved my distributor will ship all the guns. These come 2nd day and then once i get them logged in you would be able to come down to pick them up. Any further questions please feel free to ask.

I would like to have the deposits no later than close of business on Tuesday. Please contact me to arrange drop off times. Provided deposits dropped off the order will get placed on Wednesday. It will take about a week for glock to process the paperwork. Once approved the guns will ship. These are shipped 2nd day. Based on those time frames I hope the paperwork is approved by the following wed and the guns can be shipped which means they would arrive friday and be available for pickup. Once I get tracking information I will be glad to provide it if you choose. I would just need your email addresses.

Please call me to arrange deposit drop off. I will be at the shop most of saturday, and all day tuesday (10-6). Normally in the store earlier and later than those hours. Tuesday I wont be available until after 3pm. Call me with any question.

Spoke to my distributor today. It is in glocks hands. We are just waiting on them to approve it and get back to us. Depending on how many they have in to approve will determine the length of time. This is all I know at this time. I will send another update in a week if I havent heard anything prior. Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving.

Update

Spoke with my rep on wed. and they were going to see if they could find out anything. Another dealer that submitted 10 days prior to me still had not heard anything either. I will put out another update in a week or two. I wish I had more info on this than I do. Thanks again for being patient.

Wanted to touch base. I have follow up and have no further update other than as usual I am waiting on glocks approval. I'm sure the holidays and the gun scare are surely not working in our favor.

no answer yet...i have tried contacting everyone i can get in contact with. I got an email back today from the lady at glock that runs that department and got the answer "it is in the approval process". Thank you...Im glad you informed me of this as if I didnt already know...so irritating. If anyone would like a refund at this point I will be more than happy to do it. I never anticipated it taking this long. I will keep you posted on any updates. Thanks for understanding.

I have heard the 1st time is the longest. After that it is much quicker...at this point i hope it is quicker the next time. This is crazy!

So....one of two say sayings in life are true today. The squeaky wheel gets the grease or if you want things done you have to do it yourself. Not sure which applies to me today but ....who cares. I have been informed " Your GSD will be approved tomorrow " I am still not expecting it to be tomorrow but lets say by the end of the week for safe measures. The guns should then ship to me. I will keep you posted.
