I am moving across country and I have my rejects box of reloads that goes back over 10 years, that I am giving away for free. Why are they rejects? No primer, bad seat, unsure if powder was correct - you know how it goes. I've pulled bullets in serious dry spells but usually I throw the questionable ones in the box and move on.
I know us reloaders are a frugal bunch, and someone who doesn't mind pulling bullets could harvest a lot of powder, bullets, and primers from this box. It's not a big box but it's heavy.
I load for .45, 9mm, .380 and .38 Special.
For bullets I've used Xtreme, Berry's, Precision Delta, Rim Rock, and Precision. Only the .38s are lead, everything else is plated, FMJ, or moly coated bullets. I was big into competition shooting for a while so I did a lot of loading in that period.
I have used W231 or HP38 powder almost exclusively the entire time. The powder harvested could safely be loaded as W231/HP38 knowing that 99% of the powder in the box is W231 or HP38.
Most of the primers are going to be Federal, with some CCI.
I live close to Desert Sportsman's so I'd like to meet there. If you're not a member we can meet at the guard gate. Save me a trip to drop off "hazardous waste" and save yourself some money. I have a flexible work schedule and could meet there most days.
Message me because I also posted in the reloads forum - apologies for cross posting I just need to get my garage emptied out to move.
Thanks,
Josh
