For sale is a very early 3 digit Eddystone Model 1917 bolt action rifle chambered in 30-06. Barrel measures 26" in length with a bright, excellent bore. Rifle retains about 96% finish with some fine high edge wear, light handling marks, some spots of find older staining and some spots of fine pinprick pitting below the finish.
Upper handguard and stock show some scattered light handling marks with some dings. Shows "RA-P" rearsenal mark on the left side below the receiver as well as the "eagle head" ahead of the floorplate and there is a "IA" stamp behind the trigger guard. Rifle is equipped with standard iron sights. Barrel is Winchester marked and dated "12-18" and the rear sight slider is "W" marked as well. The safety, bolt body, bolt shroud, right sight ladder, and stacking swivel are all Eddystone marked.
