We are CLOSED for new sales for the health/safety of our team and customers. We will reevaluate our closure status on 4/6 4/13.

We continue to work a few remaining open orders and all background checks have been submitted/faxed to the Department of Public Safety. We do not have an ETA on the checks as we are still waiting the results from 4473's faxed mid last week. As soon as the Department of Public Safety gives us an update we will contact each of you and schedule a time for you to SAFELY pick up your item(s).

Dial in - If you get lucky and get in, don't get disconnected and are patient for 4 hours you will get in but are capped at 20 checks.

WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT ANY NEW APPOINTMENTS, ORDERS OR TRANSFERS AT THIS TIME.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Stay Healthy and Safe Folks

We can attest to the fact that dial in SUCKS ASS!!! As Jim stated, it takes hours to get into the queue and then you sit on hold for 5-7 hours waiting for an answer if you don’t get disconnected while on hold. Then there is the limit of 20 checks per call. So all in all, it’s very time consuming for the dealers! We try to get at least 2 calls in queue in the first half of the day as one of them “mysteriously” just drops almost every time. So we at least have one other going in case. Yesterday, we were dropped 2 times. Once after 30 mins and another after 4 hrs. Luckily at 5:50 pm we got thru to process the checks that we had to get done.

Just a word to all who are buying without CCW’s, it will take at least a day once you come in and fill out your paperwork no matter what dealer you are visiting.

We are still processing Private Party Transfers even though many have stopped, we are almost out of handguns, we have about 30 left, but are working with other dealers that are closed down to help move their inventory and be able to provide to Nevada residents as we have been told that our procedures for handling customers are in complete compliance with the virus procedures, so we shouldn’t have any issues. We wish Jim and his staff a safe break as it is very exhausting going thru everything every transaction, and this last week has been very trying for all of us at stores.
Everyone please stay safe, please follow the 6’ rule to prevent further restrictions from the government and I know we will all make it through this.

Just curious, why not continue selling to those with a CCW as it should be a quick process as it does not require a background check?

He said they were closing for the health/safety of their team and customers. While a CCW transaction is quicker, there is still some risk to health and safety with each encounter.

We are closed to new sales for the health/safety of our team and customers. No one is exempt from catching/transmitting this virus including a CCW holder.

Stay Safe Folks.

These guys are the unsung heroes of this crisis. Every shop I've been to, the staff was working like crazy trying to keep up with the panic buying and unprecedented demand. Long hours, tireless efforts on background checks, nonstop remedial questioning from first time buyers. Thanks DGS and to all the other shops who kept their lights on to this point.

Update 3/25/2020:
We are still waiting on faxed BG checks from mid last week. Hoping/praying to see some of them back today. Dial in has become more like Roulette but if you are lucky enough to get on hold, do not get disconnected and can brave the 4 hour hold time they will run up to 20 checks. Unfortunately all of the faxed 4473's need to run their course as they are in progress.

Stay safe and healthy folks. Just remember you can't catch the virus if you aren't exposed to it.

I am happy to say we just received a call from the Department of Public Safety for a boatload of 4473's faxed last Wednesday and all are proceeds. We will be reaching out to each of you tonight and tomorrow morning to schedule SAFE pickups for tomorrow.

We have 1 large batch and 1 small batch left in flight and will provide updates when available.

We were able to brave the hold today and ran the last of the straggler background checks. (~4 hour hold) We were also able to pull the small batch back that was faxed yesterday so ran those as well. They are automatic delays when you call in but hopefully we will get a call back in the AM. Worse case the 3 days started ticking.

That leaves just the last large batch faxed last Thursday.

As of today we finally have confirmation that the last batch of faxed 4473's is in process. This means they must get back to us by end of day Wednesday. It is very likely we will hear back sooner and will contact each of you as soon as we get an update.

All pending background checks are complete.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Stay Healthy and Safe folks.

Update 4/4/2020

First and foremost, we hope you and your family are healthy and safe during this unprecedented time.

Out of an abundance of caution and considering the health and safety of our team and customers, we have made the decision to extend our closure through Monday, April 13th. We will revisit our closure status at that time.

Stay Healthy and Safe Folks.

We will reopen on Tuesday, April 14th with a lighter appointment schedule to give everyone some extra space. Our local Inventory is up to date on Our Website and appointments can be requested through our Contact Us link. Background checks with the Department of Public Safety can take several days to complete so let us know if you have a valid NV CCW.

Our phones will remain turned off as we need these lines free to call in background checks with a current hold time of up to 5 hours. Our Online Store will remain closed as current shipping times can range from several days to several weeks.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Stay Healthy and Safe Folks.
