Truck Vault did not have what I wanted so I had this built out of Marine Plywood. I paid $1,000 and would be happy if I got $600.
It measures 48 inches wide, 46 inches deep, 15 inches high, 2 compartment each measure 23 inches wide, 44 inches deep, 4 inches high.

Thanks to everyone you inquired.

Its heavy about 200 lbs, it would take two men and a boy to lift it.
When the cabinet shop built the box they used the heaviest rated slides for the length of the draw opening. I told them I would have a lot of weight with ammo and rifles so I made sure it was built strong. Yes I'm sure they are ball bearings. I will double check that. This box is built like a tank.

RK,
When I had it built I wanted to make sure it would fit in another vehicle I bought. Was always thinking about moving up to a Silverado pickup.
To bad you live so far away, would be a great addition to your Silverado. A lot cheaper than Truck Vault, they are now selling for $3,000 plus

I know. Been looking at Leer Decked, TruckVault and Leer overhead Locker.

The width between wheelwells is 51" on 2017 Silverado. All I would have to do is put a cargo bar behind the box or a couple of 2x4s against the back so it will not slide back.

RK,
The box does sit next to the second row seat. This of course keeps it tight. I did install two small angle brackets on the bottom back of the box and screwed it into the floor. It was just a little extra to keep it solid.

To bad you are far away. Good luck in your search for a box.
