Anyone know who is doing pick up for donations of couches? Or is in need of them? I really hate to just chuck them?

Edit: nm, apparently safenest does not accept couches any longer.

Yep same issue I am running into. I don't have a truck and they work fine. I really hate to toss on bulk day but....

We have one of those baby jumperoos and Goodwill refused to take it. Almost like new. If anyone is interested, I can post a pic.

I left a LIKE NEW couch out for Opportunity Village, they said they would have to "inspect" it first, needless to say they left it at the end of my driveway,. No mystery why there's couches dumped in the desert everywhere.

If people can get it to the desert, they can get it to the dump.

My niece and nephew don't have a couch and could probably use it. I'll contact them in the AM and see if they can come get it.
If so I'll get contact info from you then.

Thanks and Regards,

Talked to my niece just now and they would love to have the sofa.
If I could get a contact number to give them I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Mark

Tell them not to shine a black light on it. LOL

The desert is free. People don't want to spend $50 to get rid of something they no longer want.
Where is the dump in Las Vegas?

Our landfill drop off serves Summerlin, Henderson & greater Las Vegas. Located just West of I-15 at the Tropicana Ave exit
Thereof, how much does it cost to dump at a landfill?
The cost to dump at a landfill is usually around $50 if you do it yourself. If you hire a professional, expect to spend $70 to $150 on an average size load.

Only idiots and self important dolts dump their stuff in the desert.
They could also go to the website and find the following info:

“ Items such as home furnishings, mattresses, carpet and appliances may require special handling and/or advance notice. Contact us for bulk waste service details, fees and to schedule a pickup. We pick up most items curbside, with limitations (refrigerators or other hazardous items).”

There is no excuse for desert dumping.
