Hey folks. Looking for a reliable subcompact/compact 9mm in the $300 range for my sister-in-law.

Open to various models. S&W, Bersa, Ruger, Walther... What’s out there?

Can't beat the Ruger EC9s. Picked one up for my wife at the Henderson Sportsman's Warehouse for right about $260 OTD ( w/CCW).
Shot reliably with not one malfunction on it's first range trip. I found it controllable and not that snappy.
Very concealable.
My concealed carry IWB gun is a LC9s Pro.

Yes, the EC9s, is a great little gun, I don't know how they can sell them that inexpensively! I've got a LC9s, same but with dove tailed sights. Both have a thumb safety. I'm looking for a LC9s Pro, same, but with no thumb safety. They are all great pistols!

^ TOTALLY!!!
Me and the GF have had 3 of the G2's. Don't know why I keep trading them.
Never had a lick of problems with them. Reliable, accurate and a fantastic bargain. The only 'issue" with them is the travel of the trigger is all the way back. But you only notice that when you pick up a different gun.
Nowadays you can get the G2c model in various colors.
They even come with 2 12 rnd mags!

Go to YOUTUBE https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=taurus+g2c+9mm

I see the basic black 1 going for $199 SHIPPED! https://palmettostatearmory.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=taurus+g2c+9+mm
DON'T CONFUSE THE g2C WITH THE g2S.
