The upper began its life as a Bear Creek Arsenal side charging upper. The first generation side charging uppers weren’t very good. I opted to swap out the upper receiver for a rear charging upper.
It has a 16” HBAR and it has been nothing but good to me. It comes with a 3 port muzzle brake (installed), but it’s original A2 style flash hider will also be provided. The sighting system comes with a reflex sight from Tacticon Armament that has 4 different reticles (comes with spare batteries) and a set of Daniel Defense iron sights. Vertical foregrip. BCG w/ 7.62x39 bolt and charging handle included. Barrel has less than 500 rounds through it and I’ve taken well over 30 hogs from hunts in Texas with it.
The spare parts kit consists of 2 spare 7.62x39 bolts (1x nitride and 1x NiB), a spare enhanced firing pin (1x already installed), 2 packs of bolt repair kits (gas rings, extractors, and ejectors w/ springs).
The entire upper, with sights, and spare parts are selling for $250. You can find a 16” rear charging upper from BCA on their site for $210 before shipping. This is definitely a hell of a deal.
Lastly, a lot of 20x 7.62x39 DURAMAGS. These are definitely the “gold standard” for AR platforms. These are the same mags that come with and are recommended for the SIG SPEAR.
The 30,28, and 20 round magazines are $20 EACH, but the 10 round magazines are $15 EACH.
