Car Brag Time.

Very nice Vette OP. My neighbor has a '59 in red of course.
Purchased this 2024 Z in early December. It's been sitting on a battery tender all winter. Had it closed transport from the dealership in Kalispell MT to my driveway due to weather. Having it clear wrapped this month so I can actually drive it.

At 2800 pounds a 283 or 327 would wake that car up. There‘s no doubt in my mind if that ‘54 has the original drive train I would leave it original.

My friend‘s ‘59 had a 327 in it until he had the original 283 rebuilt last year and runs much better. For unknown reasons he battled constant cooling issues with the 327.

I‘ve always been a numbers matching car enthusiast when possible. But there‘s always the possibility a soccer mom in a minivan would whoop you off the line so it’s up to you lol.

Mine has a 350/350 I put in after not being able to find all the original parts to put the original motor back in. I have the complete original motor minus trans still. I am a modify everything type of person. However this will be returned to Original someday.
