WTS Bushmaster XM15-E2S 5.56 ban-era LEO/police trade-in carbine. $650

Recently bought this online as part of a batch of police trade-ins. If you saw my recent WTB ad here on the forum, I was looking for an L serial number and this one arrived with a BFI serial. They're both quality ARs from the original Bushmaster in Windham, Maine, but I already have another BFI serial rifle in my collection so this one has to go. An interesting late ban-era configuration with both an A2 fixed stock and an A3 flat-top receiver. Probably 2002-2004 production based on what little help the internet is with researching original Bushmaster production now that the company has been sold and re-sold a couple times.

This is a used police trade-in and the condition reflects that (see pics below). Some scratches and finish wear on the expected locations (brass deflector, forward assist, mag well, etc) a couple dings on the handguards and grip, but no damaged/broken parts. Shot once by me to ensure function and saw no issues. Would make a great FRT host with the low-shelf lower receiver and that thick heavy barrel.

Comes with the accessories it came with from the retailer, presumably what it was turned in with from whatever police department it served with.

Details:
- Flat-top upper receiver (Cerro Forge “keyhole” mark, “Y” stamp on aft lug) with removable carry handle (Brass Aluminum “Square” forge mark), A2 fixed stock with rifle buffer system.
- 16” Bushmaster heavy barrel, carbine gas system with fixed front sight post, skinny carbine handguards, A2 flash hider.
- Semi-auto BCG with no markings (typical of ban-era Bushmaster).
- “B” marked hammer and trigger.

Accessories:
- New-in-box Thril PMX polymer 30-round magazine (yeah, I took it out of the box to take the photos for this ad).
- Elzetta ZFH1500 FSB Flashlight Mount
- Fenix TK15 flashlight with remote switch. Flashlight works but the remote switch is inoperative and rechargeable battery is dead.
- 2-point or 3-point configurable sling (disassembled)

Happy to send more pics if there's something you'd like to specifically see the condition of.

Located in west Henderson/Inspirada. Prefer transfer at Ventura Munitions, buyer pays transfer fee.
