Up for sale is what I believe to be one of the nicest M1 Garands I've seen. Purchased this from the Fernwood Armory about 5 years ago.
Post War Era Springfield Armory M1 Garand. S/N 4353624 dates to 1953. Barrel is dated December of 1953.
M1 is in excellent condition. Metal parts show no pitting and bore is bright and shiny. ( Pic Attached ).
The wood looks to be a commercial aftermarket stock but was done with quality craftsmanship. Absolutely beautiful (IMO) and really pops!
Only put about 50 rounds through this rifle just to ensure functionality.
Will come with a reproduction sling and CMP hard case.
Please keep any questions to DMs.
SPECS:
Receiver: Springfield Armory, serial number 4353624.
Barrel: Springfield Armory, marked SA F6535448 12-53
Trigger Housing: marked "6528290" HRA N
Bolt: D6528287 HRA -U-
Price: 2K FIRM
