Hey Guys,

I don't really like doing this but we're in a situation where we have to.

Wife wrote this:
Charlie is 13 years old. 17 lbs. Neutered. Orange tiger stripe DSH. He too has all his claws. I’ve had him for 6 years as well. He enjoys: laying around all day long, being a lap cat (or chest cat when he can), cuddling/sleeping in bed with you at night, and goes nuts for mice and furry wand toys. He is currently on a special urinary tract health dry food, which keeps him from getting reoccurring UTIs. He is extremely social and loving to any and all humans, but in his old age has grown to dislike his cat and dog siblings. He has displayed growing agitation/aggression towards my other animals, but remains nothing but loving towards humans (children and adults). He recently (Dec 30th) had a full senior panel workup done, and the vet gave him a clean bill of health. She advised that his change in personality is due to age. Essentially, he’s just old and cranky. To be honest, he would need to be an only pet. He seems so uncomfortable in our current multi-pet household, that moving him to a similar situation wouldn’t be the best for him. I am really looking for a loving home where he can peacefully and happily live out the remainder of his life.

Back to me:
We are adopting him out because my wife is pregnant. We both are allergic to cats but during this pregnancy the cat has exponentially bothered her asthma. There is also a very high risk our son will be allergic so we'd like him to come into this world in a cat free household. We have all of the necessary items to having a cat that will be included with him.

Issues: He'd likely be best as an only animal. We had some issues with him getting overly aggressive with our other cat (now adopted as well). We've also had issues with marking his territory on our dog beds. We don't keep any dog beds in the living spaces so he's unable to pee on them. I want to be as transparent as possible and its probably best if he was an only animal.

Thanks for your consideration. Let me know if you'd like to stop by and meet him. :):)

Oh, We're in Henderson.
