My mother-in-law retired Federal agent from Brazil, is used to 9mm/38/357m/and 22lr when she was active. Now, old & frail, but she wants to try .40s&w & 10mm when she comes. My G20 SBR takes care of the 10mm, and now the Hi Point will serve her up .40sw better than my Glock23c imo

It is heavy, but doesn't the Hi Point use a simple blowback operation? As I understand it, that means you have a really heavy slide slamming back and forth with every shot.
