A Heartwarming Story of a HAM that passed, his passion, and his Legacy

Interesting, he lived in Hawaii, but had a zone 7 call sign, which would indicate that when he received his call sign he lived in either AZ, ID,MT, NV, OR, UT, WY or WA when it was issued. Had it been issued while living in HI it would have been an H6 call sign. He was an extra class licensee.
We do the Silent Key call for our ARES/ RACES members when they pass.
Same thing as calling end of watch for a fallen LEO.
Have had to do the S.K. call for friends who were hams five times in the last six months.
