4th Auction

The website is glitchy. It did not save my address and credit card information after I changed the to my new address after the last auction. It did not let me update to my current address, so I was unable to place a bid. Nothing there I really need. I will let it go for now.
My wife thinks I spend too much money on guns and gun stuff. She may be right.

Read the fine print. I was very annoyed that my C&R license will NOT be accepted for C&R eligible firearms.

It depends on who you are. That part was put in by my partner, it hasn't always been followed. Would rather not have to call the ATF to make sure the C&R is correct when dealing with 140 other buyers.
But you could have asked me before posting about it.
 
I hope you appreciate the feedback. We are your customer base. I have purchased items at two of your auctions and I am happy with them. When your web interface is glitchy, you have a problem.

It works fine here except that email seems to be delayed a bit.

I think the interface is Proxibids and it can be challenging at times. I have been hitting auctions on there for years.

After paying everyone, including Proxibid, the state, DROS, background, internet fee, sellers premium, buyers premium, advertising fee....
The Smith & Wesson is now $450.
 
It's a good deal if you're the only bidder....but hot items can exceed market value, especially if there is an "ego" bidding war between two bidders

No. Buyer doesn't worry about sellers fee or advertising. And really who here doesn't have a ccw, I mean come on! ;) So with that you are $50 high.

So, what would we be looking at for this hypothetical? $400 for the gun and $72 for the auction fee. What else?

Yes, I checked that I read the terms, when I actually skimmed it. I don't think I'm in danger of paying too much for a gun.

18%, $12 and tax. CC is 3% BGC $25. I don't have any other hidden fees. Shipping is based on what it costs to pack and ship.
 
Im more concerned about paying over $5 a gallon on gas , food and supply’s have doubled in cost along with electricity, gas and water
Paying a lil more on a firearm I really want is ok in my mind
 
Still watching 17 items. Gotta' set an alarm for the closing time start.
 
Nye County has a "tax lien" auction twice a year for properties that have been seized for lack of payment on property taxes.
You had to drive to Pahrump and bid live at the courthouse. Some excellent deals were found on land purchases.
Then the fakedemic hit and Nye County decided that, because of "social distancing" BS, that they would move the auctions to "Bid for Assets" on the internet.
Now you got the whole world bidding on these tax properties without even seeing them.
Drives the price through the roof. Good for Nye County, not good for the local folks.
 
From the terms: If paying by cash or certified check you must notify RRA within 24 hours of receiving the invoice.
 
All I can say is these retail guys are saving me a bunch of money! :ROFLMAO:
