Unfortunatly I have no control over that part of their website. Other than saying make sure your name, address, email, CC ... are correct, I don't know. I don't understand why some people get in no problem and others like you and Mac have issues.
You can unsubscribe later too. I recently adjusted how many I get since I don't care about art auctions.

True, but my nerves would feel a lot better if bids were $50 instead of $5.

Besides, if you are wanting something for up to $50, you lock in your high bid now and wont lose to someone who locks in $50 before you can.

I always chuckled at people who say they "won" something on EBay. I guess it's technically correct (the best kind of correct) but winning doesn't always turn out to be a good thing.

I was so sure I would lose an EBay auction on one thing I wanted, I jumped on a buy it now for a different one. Yep, I ended up with two identical Jim Beam decanters.
