Up for sale is custom built .338 edge precision rifle, base on trued Remington 700 LA magnum SS action, Bartlein 5R 1:9.3 twist MTU fluted 29" barrel with OAL at 50". Sitting on XLR aluminum chassis with Vortex strike eagle 4-24×50 scope. Rifle was test fired by the gunsmith and that's the only time it was use. I'll also includes 100 brand new 300 RUM brass which to make 338 edge, and a set of redding 338 edge dies and 338 edge case guage. Selling it because I wasn't too sure I have the knowledge to reload, or the confidence. Scope is mounted but need zeroing, this is a wildcat cartridge and you might not find ammo in the store. This cartridge ballistics is as good as 338 LM or better. If you have questions or interesting in this rifle, please PM me. Asking $4000 or any reasonable offer will be considered. Thanks

That's pretty cool! You should learn to reload. It's not as difficult as one might think. Extreme Reloading in Vegas, Or is it Henderson, has reloading classes. Or we have a reloading forum here. Plenty of people willing to tell you what your doing wrong!:ROFLMAO:

I 2nd. Dusty's suggestion. If your dead set on selling. It would be easier, in my opinion, to sell the rifle and scope separate. I'm not bagging on the set-up. I just think the scope is not on par with the rifle and that may make it less desirable as a package. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks for the advice, and you are absolutely right about the scope because original scope for this rifle was Burris F class but I decided to mount it on EDM arms .50 bmg and so I can start shooting. Hornady 750 gr. amax .50 bmg is as good as handload and it's widely available. That's one of the reason I didn't get to reloading as I should once 338 was completed. As Dusty suggests, I'll look into reloading classes, and start reloading 338 edge.
