Selling a Savage MSR 10 Hunter chambered in .308, including...
- Primary Arms 1-8x24 FFP on an Aero ultralight 30mm mount
- 8 20rd mags
and other misc. upgrades detailed below. This is a pretty unique rifle from Savage. Much smaller than a typical DPMS/LR-308/SR25 pattern AR-10 - nearly the size of an AR15.
Round count is somewhere between 50-100. Purchased as a hunting rifle, took it to the range twice and just never ended up using it.
Paint job is just a bazooka-green rattlecan over black anodize - not difficult to remove if it's not your style.
Notable features:
- Scope: Primary Arms SLx 1-8x24 FFP w/ ACSS Raptor illuminated BDC reticle. Mounted via Aero ultralight 30mm.- Barrel: 16.1" length. 1:8 twist 5R rifling. Chambered in .308. Fluted between barrel extension and gas block. Big brake.
- Gas system: highly adjustable and almost toolless (can be dialed with the tip of a bullet)
- Receivers: forged 7075-T6
- Trigger: 2-stage NiB-coated. Pretty good.
- Rail: Rock-solid bolted interface between upper receiver and rail. M-lok.
- BCG: NiB coated. Dual extractors.
- Upgrades: Ambidextrous bolt catch/release (Phase5 EBR v2). Magpul furniture. BCM QD endplate. Ambi safety.
