The wife and I have owned this truck 2008, second owners. Bought with 98,000 miles it now has 211,000. It has been The most reliable truck we’ve ever owned. I’ve replaced everything that has worn out and needed changing, tires, brakes battery. Alternator, starter etc are all newer.
About 2 years ago I had all fluids, rearend, transmission etc flushed and changed. The only thing I didn’t have done was a tune up which I was going to do, but never got around to doing. About a year and 1/2 ago some dude hit my wife and ran. Damaged the rear door and lower trim. It did not damage the frame, cosmetic only. The door opens and closes fine, still air tight. I ended up buying the wife a newer truck.
It has the 22R motor, automatic transmission, interior is still in great shape. I drive it once a month and treated the gas with stabil. Been sitting about a year now as a spare vehicle. Cold air.....etc. has new tires too. Has never leaked any fluids on the ground. Doesn’t use any fluids either.
I’m one of those guys that try’s to keep up on the vehicles so they are ready to go anywhere-anytime.
So she needs a tune up, damaged fixed or not if you can live with it. She’s got a lot of life left in her. We just don’t need her anymore.
$1800 cash and I have a clean and clear Nevada title, not salvage or whatever else.
SOLD lock her up.
