Title says it. Going to let my truck go since life takes priority.
Price is $16,000, and I'm pretty gosh darn firm at that price but cash talks.
1969 Factory 4x4 F250 ("highboy"). Truck is 1 of 21 ever made in this color/trim.
Factory 4 speed with granny low. Dana 24 transfer case. Manual steering (none of the annoying hydraulic assist stuff).
Late 70's 300 Inline Six installed in place of the original 360 V8 - Aside from that, its pretty much original.
Orange was repainted in the late 90's
Includes color matched camper shell and barn doors.
Nice condition bed spray in bed liner.
Freshly painted tailgate
Nearly brand new Toyo MT tires (all 5).
Since owning it I've done:
Brakes (all except the actual drums on the front).
Replaced the intake manifold, along with associated gaskets.
Replaced fluids (front diff, rear diff, transfer case and transmission).
Installed a better fitting air cleaner.
New tires and used wheels.
Other than that, I've just driven it. It's not perfect. Its 50+ years old. It's got some rust in the bed side seams (with some pinholes) and in the upper cab seams at the drip rail, and one small spot at the front of the hood. In our Nevada environment, I doubt it'll ever get worse, but that being said it should be repairable either way. Floors are solid, doors are solid, fenders are solid. Its got a few minor digs here and there but nothing of consequence. Seat has some rips under the drivers butt, but I put on a seat cover.
It starts, stops, runs and drives very well. I've been driving it 3 days a week for the past year. I drove it home over Donner pass. I've driven it on several hour road trips. It doesn't get there fast, but it gets there. Runs 60-65mph down the highway no issues, but I like to keep it at 60. I personally wouldnt be afraid to drive it to Vegas from Reno.
Bottom line is its a good looking survivor that is fine as a daily driver. It's got some rust, which is why its not a $25,000 truck. Drive it as is, or do a little body work and have a nearly show condition truck.
Last pic is old, but shows the camper shell.
