You need to come wheel with us in that. Here is a more recent pic of mine, I should have the bumber done by monday.

That would be cool. I don't know what my trucks limits are. It's a 4cyl so I don't have much power. My tires are 31's

Well, we can find out. As long as your 4x you shouldn't have a problem doing most of the trails we do. We have a couple 2x guys that come out with us, although we have had to drag them up a hill or two it was no problem. If we do 4x specific/armor required stuff we will let everybody know. We just like to have fun most of the time, some of our favorite trails end at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Yeah my truck is 4x and works good. Where do your trails start?

I don't have a Facebook, I don't do that social media stuff.

We start off Blue Diamond. You can PM me your cell and I can add you to the mass text that we do for our trail runs.

Was going to ask what size tires but that makes sense.
He has a custom driveline, 4.10 gears and front and rear ARB air lockers. He wheels the heck out of it too. My next big upgrade is the full titan swap, not goi g to do a drop bracket. Mine should be done with the custom front and rear bumpers by Saturday, I hope.

My truck is too old to dump money into.

Yeah. What would you say is necessary to have when you go out on trails? I'm a bit new to this sorry.

If your with a group, not much. A good compressor like a Viair makes life easier but since you are on smaller tires a cheaper one would probably do. We air down our tires and when done air back up. Some basic tools, tire repair kit, I have a high lift with an adapter so you can lift from sliders or tube bumpers. It all depends on the trail. A portable compressor is a must, tow straps are good but do you no good if alone, a shovel might be good. Water and spare oil are good to have also.

Thanks! Need to buy some stuff, I'm not really ready.

You would be fine with us, we have everything you would need and we do not mind sharing. Most important is protecting vital areas on your truck with skid plates and sliders. It looks like you would be fine for most of the stuff we do.

It has stock skid plates. I don't know if that's good enough. I need a jack for sure, and a compressor. I have one that I've been thinking of getting. It's gotten good reviews.

All my pictures from off-roading in the mountains were on my other phone which cannot be accessed due to a broken digitizer :/

Better then nothing. A couple of us have stock skids and are ok.

What kind of tires do you guys run? Or are good out in the desert? I've recently purchased some hankook dynapro mt, that's what I'm running now. Had some regular street tires that didn't work to well in mud or dirt.
