I have been having a blast with meshtastic as of late. Has anyone else tried? Especially since I have learned of various plug ins including ATAK compatibility!

BTW no license is needed for these.

I have 2 T-beams and 2 Heltec 32 boards. I have been having great results.

For those who don't know, here is a quick video.

I know this thread is really old but just learning about this tech . Anyone using it?

This is what I am building. It’s basically a raspberry pi with the LoRa and WiFi and a battery running Linux.

We have a large mountain property in Washington State and need a way to handle local radio comms and IP networking. I’m going to set up a couple of these and uplink to Starlink.
Will use this to run game cams, digital radio comms, ATAK, drones, early warning systems etc. Basically all our commo needs.

I’ll keep the thread updated as it progresses.

That’s interesting. I see there is already a divide between Meshtastic and Meshcore. VHS vs Beta seems but they different in usage and technology.
