I could be wrong but considering what the bulk of the items are and the time it took to catalog, take pictures and post each item and the time to arrange for pickup, collect payment, etc, etc, it doesn't look like a good ROI to me.

Yeah they usually wait and have firearms only auctions though usually not a ton of guns.

Depends on the auction and items. Can range from 12 to 40-50+% depending on company.
