Is Anyone currently doing CW?
I decided to get going with it and ordered a PreppComm box while I learn code. However, I could use a good Elmer to help me along the way.
Thanks,
Jim

DonTom is strictly CW, he would be your best bet.

When I was a kid I wanted to be like Dad and get my Ham Extra license. I found CW too intimidating and petered out. The rest of the license subject matter mostly made sense to me.

Dumb move! Wish now I knew this language, and I bookmarked the Long Island club to revisit.

If you don't already belong, join one of the HAM clubs in Las Vegas, they will take you in even if you don't currently have a license, and help you get the license and learn CW.
By the way, CW is no longer required for any of the three classes of License, Technician, General or Extra.
I can supply (FREE!!) the study materials for all three classes of license, and online locations (FREE!!) to take practice exams, and point you towards the Las Vegas LAUREL VE TEAM, where the exams are.................wait for it..............FREE!!.
Just drop an email to W7NYE@YAHOO.COM to get all the info you need to become a Licensed Amateur Radio Operator.
