UPDATE:

So, I'm just going to say this.
If you are looking for a Lab pup I cannot, in good faith, recommend Hughes Family Labs.

Let's just say facts seem to be coming out about our pup's true parents, AKC lineage, health screening, and vet records
It appears everything we were told is probably not true.

These pictured in my prior post were supposed to be the Dam (Black) and Sire (Yellow)

More than likely these are the parents. Dam (Fox Red or Champagne) and Sire (Silver).
Both these colors are diluted breeds. Not colors recognized by AKC.
NOT what we were looking for. Had we known we would have passed on these pups.

Nonetheless, Jerry is now in his forever home.
I just hate being lied to right to my face, in person.

So. Just an update. Regardless of previous issues.
We had Jerry DNA tested and he came back 100% Lab past 3 generations.
19 weeks and 37 lbs. The vet says he's healthy. He's all mouth and everything belongs to him.
He looks cute here but he's really a lil hellion

Labs are the greatest (adult) dogs but after raising Brittany's, Golden's, Weimaraners and German Shorthairs IMHO labs tend to be the worst pups. Cool thing is the maturity switch with the loss of the milk teeth.
