Major Powersports locally, but I visited a dealer when I was in PHX a bit back.

Its the 100% of torque from tip-in that really has my interest. I really need to stop riding like I'm 20 when I'm out bombing around the desert. I really do.

In Las Vegas? Of course they have a Zero dealer. Owned by the same filthy rich guys as the Reno shop.

I often ride with the old owner, Brad, who retired a few years ago.

Took the Harley plunge today, 2020 Ultra Limited. I've owned many bikes, this is the first HD and it's an amazing machine. The Mrs and I want to do some longer 2-up trips in comfort. Took her home today, somehow managed to put about 75 miles on it over the 8 mile trip home. :cool:

I will ride there! On my Zero DS electric. Perhaps the only bike there to have more wide range torque than your new Harley! And that is saying a lot, as those Harleys have a lot of low end torque!

Comfort you will get.

My Harley is the most comfy bike I own for a very long trip. Yours should be quite similar. Also, gets an average of around 50 MPG. A little less for the first 6K miles or so, until it breaks in a bit.

Gone are the street bikes: ('01 bandit 1200n, 06 gsxr750 , 02 tl1000r, 13 hayabusa, 17 gsxr1000r, 02 vtx1800, 12 roadglide)

Fun, but not as much as dirt. Laws and Stuff- you know. I'll ride dirt until I can't though.

You stopped at Kathy's but didn't drop by to say hi to the Pahrumpalopes! :(

And the 'Bikers Welcome' sign is a ploy. I knew her when she didn't even like bikers. (My wife used to work there.) :LOL:
 
Xr50, xr50/125, xr350, xr500, atc70, atc250R, dr350, 78 rm250, picked up a few of those chinese coolster 49cc 2 stroke bikes for my son and my nephew. Have few more pics. Riding season is on the way.

Yes, it's good looking quality machine, but I wouldn't want it for these reasons:

1. Charges slow even on CCS (~15 KW max).
2. Only charges at 1.4 KW with 240 VAC.
3. No Reverse.
4. No way to add decent luggage.
5. Expensive for what you get.

Compare to Energica.

The Energica charges at as much as 30KW on CCS
3KW at 240 VAC (charges twice as fast as the Harley either way).
Has a reverse and slow forward ( Less than 2 MPH at WOT).
Can add stuff such as luggage.
Costs less than the LW.
Faster than the LW (0 to 60 MPH in 2.6 seconds).
Has better range on a full charge than the HD LW.

Thanks for the link. Sharp looking bikes - but they all look to have a heavily racing/sportbike geometry, which is not comfortable on my middle aged body, and honestly living and riding here in Southern Nevada, we simply don't have that many curvy mountain roads to enjoy - making that position not a good choice.


Now if I lived in Carson City at the base of Kingsbury Grade, or Mt. Rose highway, we might be talking.....

The Energica Esse Esse 9 is very comfy. It's more of a touring bike and built for comfort. MUCH more comfy than the HD LW (I have done a test ride on the LW).

The Ego is a sport bike. A kid's racing bike. Easy to get killed on. NOT designed for comfort, more for racing and speed.

The Ribelle is between the two.

I own the Esse Esse 9. I am 72 years old. It's my favorite bike out of my ten bikes for the majority of my riding.

BTW, the Esse Esse9 still has ridiculous unbelievable torque. It will go from 60 to 100 MPH at a blink of an eye--up hill, in Sport Mode. But the other two bikes are beyond just being ridiculous.

Most don't have a clue what that type of torque feels like.
