Not even close. If a guy is looking for Browning A5's, the only thing he might consider is a Remington 11 (or Savage 720).
The SLP is a self-loading gas operated shotgun. Design wise it is very similar to the Browning Auto 5.
The SLP has a similar speed loading ability as the Browning Auto 5 it is derived from.
You may notice a family resemblance, but let’s get one thing straight, this ain’t your Grandpa’s Auto-5. In fact, the iconic humpback-shaped receiver is the only thing this new Browning autoloader shares with its legendary namesake.
Touché.Ah, I see the point. I'm sure the OP is referring to the classic, collectible A5, the first semi-auto, recoil-operated with the distinctive humpback.
