WTB Car needed ASAP

Pregnant daughter is back in town and in search of inexpensive reliable daily driver to get around town.

The wife and I are thinking about letting our spare truck go. It’s been in the family for 13 years. 100% reliable. Has the 22R engine and automatic. The check engine light had started to intermittently come on and off. I replaced the part and it worked but the little hoses to it may need to be replaced. This is right before it was parked last year. I still fire it up once a month and drive it around.

And some fella hit and ran on the wife, the reason I parked it and bought her another vehicle. So there’s damage on the right side rear door. It’s air tight doesn’t affect the driving. Could be fixed with a replacement door or at a body shop.

Now beyond that, over 100,000 miles, gas, oil, battery, tires. Alternator, Starter replaced over the last few years. It has 211,000 miles on it now. Never broken down away from the house. Has never left the wife stranded anywhere. Ice cold air, heat everything works, has alarm. Brand new tires. 2 years ago it had a complete service, tune up, trans flush etc.

It’s got an easy 100,000 miles left on it if taken care of. I’m asking $2500

Thanks for your response, what year is the car? May be a little to big for her as she is very tiny but I’ll let her know to see if she is interested.

Ahhh sorry. 2000 4 runner 2 wheel dr. My wife is 1/2 Filipino 5.2 and 126. Her truck, drives like the grandma she is...lol it’s never been abused.
