I have a Marlin 30/30. These are some great rifles.
 
Can't really tell the condition from the poor photography. Any rust? What does the blueing look like? Looks like a 336.
 
Bluing is there about 90% and no rust. Scratches are normal from bringing in and out of safe and bring tossed around like other firearms.. I will let a photographer get better pics than my flip phone..
