Now we know this is a LOT of reading, but if you aren't one to read, you probably shouldn't be on a message board or forum in the first place. Failure to follow these rules in NOT an "honest mistake". It is willfully deciding to not read and/or follow the rules and will result in punitive measures, which may include banishment from the Trading Post; temporary or permanent bans from the entire forum. We don't want to do that, so please, Read and Adhere to these Rules!

Posting ads in the Trading Post is now reserved for Forum Supporters & Trading Post Subscribers only!

Pics Of ACTUAL ITEM IN YOUR POSSESSION being offered for sale so buyers can judge its condition
Price IN US DOLLARS. If it is an item to Trade, there must be a Trade Value listed.
Location (city and if outside of NV, the state also)
Consolidate Ads - No more than 2 ads per member per subforum. Yes you can have 2 in each of these subforums: Firearms: Pistol, Rifle & Shotgun Sales, Non-Firearms Related Sales, Ammo, Reloading, Parts, Mags, Optics, etc Sales
Bumping - No bumping within 24 hours of your most recent post in the thread. No 'courtesy' bumps. These are bumps from friends to circumvent the 24 hour rule.
No "selling for a friend" ads. If it's not yours, don't list it!
Do not post the multiple ads for the same item(s). (If you want to get your ad to the top, see "Bumping" above.)
Trading Post ads will close automatically if there has been no activity (comments or bumps) after 30 days.
Price drops, items being added, additional information of any kind, anything the OP adds to the ad should be place in the first post of the ad via the edit button so that folks don't have to search through the ad to find it, and also to possibly avoid the information update being an early bump, one less than 24 hours after the last post in the ad, no matter who made that post.
-NO PERSONALLY RELOADED AMMUNITION may be offered for sale. Commercially reloaded ammunition such as that produced by companies like Precision Cartridge, Black Hills, etc. is allowed for sale, but no unknown source ammunition may be offered for sale.
-NO SALES OF BANNED ITEMS or otherwise ILLEGAL SALES! Firearms Sales to persons living in NV must follow all NV state firearms laws as well as Federal Firearms Laws, and go through a FFL Dealer.
Close your own thread instead of Reporting it to staff to close it. It is easy and saves everyone time:

Buyers:
Responding to Ads in the Trading Post:
The first "I'll take it" post in the ad takes precedence over other responses. No soliciting counter offers, This site IS NOT AN AUCTION SITE! And seeking counter offers is starting an auction!
Questions, comments, or offers of trades should be made via a PM sent to the ad OP, not posted in the ad as a reply.
Many of these "offers of trades" are now actually ads themselves, without a price or a picture, if posted in the OPs ad, which violates trading post rules, and are also often made by folks who do not have trading post privileges, another violation of the rules, so send them via a PM.
Many are also "free bumps" by buddies that help the ad OP get around the 24-hour bump rule and keep the ad at the top of the list in that section.
The only things folks should be posting as replies to someone else's ad are "I'll Take it" or "I'll take it Pending inspection" or "2nds if the deal falls through" or "3rds if the deal falls through". Nothing else, including "PM sent".
No "Thread Crapping"
"Members who seek to derail, interfere or degrade ("THREAD CRAPPING") another members WTS/WTB thread will lose their Trading Post privileges indefinitely and may be subject to infraction points. Repeated offenders will be banned.
If you do not feel the price is appropriate or the product offered is sub-par, keep it to yourself. Let the buyer decide and the seller respond in kind. Do not try and negatively influence a sale."
I don't care if somebody is selling a 10/22 for $8,000. Do not post in people's for sale threads unless you are interested in buying it.
Sellers and Buyers:
After a transaction is complete, leaving Feedback is encouraged.
Do not leave more than one feedback for a single deal.
Firearms Sales to persons living in other states must follow NV State Firearms Laws, the Firearms laws of the state of residence of the buyer or seller, and all Federal Firearms Laws, and go through a Federal Firearms Dealer. NO EXCEPTIONS!
