Remington 700 DBM BDL in 243 Win. Started life as a 7mm-08 but had a smith put a new 243 win factory barrel on it. I believe this was a 1990’s build date so not during the Remington “junk years”. Shoots 1 inch groups with factory Barnes triple shock 80 grainers. Flier in the photo was during sight in process. 3 subsequent shots are 1 inch.
Upgrades/Build list as follows:
Hogue aluminum FULL bedding block stock in ghillie green. This was professionally installed and bedded correctly (beyond just dropping it in). $200 + gunsmith time.
Timney Elite Hunter trigger. $160 plus gunsmith time.
Talley lightweight low 1 inch rings. $50
German Precision Optics 4-12 1 inch tube-$400
Not looking to get what I have into it or anything, just cleaning out the gun closet- don't miss your chance at a great rifle with some semi custom work that would make a great varmint/deer/antelope rifle.
