Ok so I called IKEA and no one can seem to answer me on weight limits. We have it as a spare bedroom and my father and mother came to stay on it and they are overweight haha. It's very strong I thing any reasonable mattress and person combination would be fine.
It's a double size bed.
We have matching dresser and side end tables with it if you want too for an extra $150
Everything is basically brand new.
