Good job, mzeronian4. I have two of these (one is my Dad's after he passed with his classic Redfield, the other is my own with a Nikon). Heck of an excellent deer/elk/hog/moose rifle for senior shooters with arthritis or those with disabilities. An absolute gem for any and all of us.

On an elk hunt in Idaho one year, we came across a game warden carrying a 742, he made the point that after your first shot you don't make a metallic sound racking a new cartridge. Follow up shots are fast and accurate.
