1984 Honda Shadow VT700c for Parts
I bought this bike here on the trading post several years ago from a guy who was chopping it down into a bobber. I rode it for a few years, and it ran great, but I never really finished the project.
Then, it was vandalized by strangers over the summer.
They kicked it over, stomped the handle bars and tank a bit, and ripped out some random wires.
The electronics and ignition wiring were already a mess from the last guy, (I started it with a hidden switch) and now its really a mess.
That's why this bike is best used for parts or for a project were you were going to strip it completely down and start from scratch.
NO, THE BIKE DOES NOT RUN IN ITS CURRENT CONDITION.
-Motor is in excellent condition. It always ran super strong, no leaks, no problems.
-Carbs good, probably need cleaning from sitting.
-As you can see in the pictures, it has all the plastic side/battery covers.
-Tank is dented, no cap, in bad shape.
-Tires are old and soft.
-Comes with Clymer Service/Repair/Maintenance Manual (348 pages)
-No Title, I can't find it and it's too hard to get in to the DMV.
Again this motorcycle won't run, you'll need a trailer or something to pick it up.
$200 cash or trade for gun stuff, ammo, tools, try me.
It's worth more than this, but I'm pricing it to move because I no longer have a parking space for it, so I have to get rid if it by Monday.
