K cans get very hot. Ask me how I know...or just look at the second picture. Yep, my glove burned off onto that, but my hand survived. That was my first or second range session, about 8-10 months ago. I called SilencerCo and this happens often, I can send them the can and get it fixed within 2 days. I have just left it because I don't care. Frankly, I think its the coolest looking Velos in town.

However, too many 5.56 cans, not enough 5.56 shooting. This currently has a Rearden mount rocksett on, which is 100% the way to go - it actually makes it a K can. I still have the included ASR mount as well, so both will be included. I am asking $750 and will get it repaired before transfer if you wish. These are $1K plus tax, and the Reardens are $100ish.

Here's the thing - I would NOT wait until the new year to file the stamp...transfers are paper stamps, not e-file. I have asked several FFLs and manu told delays might be up to a year starting in January. So, I suggest you get the can and file ASAP. Sure, you're gonna pay $200, but you will have it well before waiting for a new one in January. I don't know this for sure, but I believe paper stamps are taking 3-4 months right now. If you want to wait, thats fine, I just wouldn't. Even with paying the stamp, you're saving about $250 on a gently used (at least internally) excellent can.

Bump - here’s a pic of lead times for October, posted by silencer shop. Shouldn’t take that long for this to be yours!
