Never fired. Includes a used Uncle Mike's Sidekick holster. $550 No trades. No box. Meet at LGS, your choice.

The double-action Ruger LCR is a lightweight, compact revolver for 38 Special +P, 22 LR, 22 WMR, 357 Mag, 327 Fed Mag and 9 mm Luger. Except caliber, it comes essentially in one size and one configuration: all matte-black. Okay, there is one more outlier, and that’s the 38 Special +P with the optional Pink Hogue Tamer Monogrip.

Capacities are as follows. The 22 WMR and 327 Fed Mag are 6-round cylinder revolvers while the 22 LR has an 8-round cylinder. The cylinders lock into the frame in front using the ejector extension and at the back too.

Key dimensions: The 22 WMR has a 1:9” RH twist and weighs 16.6 ounces.

In each case, the monolithic (one-piece) gun frame is matte-black. Affixed to the top front is a pined white line blade (ramp) sight while in back is a U-notch sight integrated to the frame. And for safety, the Ruger LCRs have a transfer bar safety mechanism.

The lighter caliber .22 LR, .22 Magnum and .38 Special models use 7000-series aerospace industry aluminum alloy.

The cylinders are made of high-strength stainless steel and then given a PVD finish. Cylinder fluting catches the eye, but more than that, it reduces weight, increases heat dissipation while maintaining structural rigidity.

These guns have a friction-reducing cam in the fire control system for a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull and a fire control housing that anchors all the subcomponents in precise place.

Each gun has a Hogue Tamer Monogrip. Except the aforementioned pink one, it’s always black. Regardless of color, these two-finger contoured and raised bump textured monogrips are comfortable, ergonomic and reduce felt-recoil. They’re fastened to the bottom using a grip screw, making it possible to swap out with other compatible grips.
