Rare! Egyptian Contract FEG WALAM 48 3-3/4" barrel .380 acp. (9mm Short) SA-DA semi-auto pistol. DLW import marks. Gun is date stamped 1958 Hungary mfg. with "E" prefix serial number (E09476) and Egyptian Crest on slide as part of Contract in late 1950's left unfulfilled (for political or payment reasons). A high quality Walther PP copy, in fact WALAM is short for WALther-LAMpart where Walther refers to its PP origins and Lampart to FEG's post WW2 Factory name. This one likely came back through England (hence British Proofs). Features a stunning original blue finish throughout, a couple micro-handling marks, looks at most test fired. Gorgeous original red mottled Bakelite grips and magazine base, no blemishes. Bore and function are great. One original seven round magazine. Good shooter.
