So, as many of you are aware, I design and sell AR500 targets for fun and profit. Saturday, I picked up a load of my laser cut goodness, mostly dueling tree parts. My vendor had a pallet of mild steel plates that were drops (waste) from another laser project for someone else, and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Namely, buy the drops from them and have everything loaded with the forklift, or I would have to load my AR order by hand. One hand, mind you, as I'm still recovering from hand surgery. Having family as a vendor can lead to hilarity, can't it?

As a result, I now have 40 1/2" thick 11" diameter round plates (13.5 lbs), and 39 3/4" thick 7" diameter plates (8.2 lbs).

Each plate has a 1/2-3/4" cut in one edge where the laser penetrated. Hardly noticeable, but if you're using it to make something water/air tight, you'll notice.

While lots of people use mild steel as pistol targets (rifles will mess it up fast), I don't sell mild steel for targets other than 22LR. So, these are not being sold as targets.

They are being sold for:
Boat anchors
Heavy duty dinner plates
Mounting plates for things that need mounting
Pavers
Terrible Frisbee
Active participants in tragic boating accidents

Price:
$8/ea for the seven inch rounds
$12/ea for the eleven inch round
Sales tax included (I'm a business, apparently)
Yes, I will happily sell them to you cheaper if you buy more than five.
Local pickup (Reno), or will ship USPS flat rate up to 65 lbs for $17.45 (actual shipping cost). If you order targets from me, and want some mild steel to play with, let me know and we'll work something out.

Still have 17 of the eleven inch plates, and 20 of the seven inch plates. May have some additional sizes and shapes coming later this month. Let me know if you're looking for anything specific and I'll keep an eye out.

Okay, how many plates will fit into a Flat Rate Box? Say four of the 7" and then how many of the 11"? And what would be your price on that full box?

4x 7" is $28
2x 11" is $24
Flat rate shipping $17.45
Total $73.45

Call it $65, shipped. That works out to just barely over a buck a pound, taxed and delivered, for those who are counting.

I can put a package deal together on the website to conduct the actual sale, or you can mail me a check. Whatever is easier for you.
