How much powder would you need to load 1000 rounds?

Depends on what powder you choose to use and how hot you want to load them....but on "average", say 5.5gr - 6.0gr per round, roughly a little less than 1 pound.
Thank you.

Depends on the powder. Look up a recipe you want. There are 7000 grains in a pound. A typical recipe might be 4-7 grains.

I was researching loads and started to realize my rookie mistake. There are quite a few powders you can use as well apparently. My employer reloads, so if I can find a powder this arrangement may work for me.

yea, 9mm is like the rice of the reloading world.....LOTS & LOTS can be used with it. IMO, the bullets are what really makes the biggest difference in performance.
