Its a Swan 500 HF transceiver as much as I wanted to get this one on the air here, I just don't have the time to do it, and I already have an HF radio so this one needs to go.
NyeCo and I hooked it up to his antenna at his place and made a few local contacts so its in working order. Comes with power supply, external speaker and is super clean for a radio from the 1970s. Lots of power, this isnt a small potable 100 watt rig, SSB it can put out over 500 watts. Would be great for a new ham who wants to learn or a collector who actually uses the gear as well (Hate to see it go to waste) Price: $300.00 and you would have to pick it up in Pahrump unless you are willing to meet me at Precision Armory this Saturday for the Nevada shooters event there. You don't see these radios this clean and in working order often and you cant buy an HF rig this cheap anywhere! Comes with an incredible amount of documentation as well, including owners manual.
Specs are as follows
Frequency range:10-80 m 3.5-4 / 7-7.5 / 14-14.5 / 21-21.45 / 28-29.7 MHz
Mode:SSB/CW/AM
RF Power output:SSB: 550 Watts CW: 360 Watts AM: 125 Watts
Receiver system:conversion superheterodyne
Dimensions (W*H*D):330*130*260 mm (12.99*5.12*10.24")
