Mfg. by Tula in 1940 on a round receiver with (SA) Finn marking on the left side of the barrel shank, Excellent PLUS condition with 95% or better blueing on all metal parts. Bolt stamped to match the barrel, bore is mostly bright (has been counterbored at muzzle). Nicely figured two part Finn "pot belly" buttstock and handguard. How deep is that counterbore?

Less than 1/2 inch. looking closer with the light I see sharp lands almost to the muzzle

The Finns normally weren't as aggressive as the Russians when counterboring. From what I've seen on Finn Mosins perhaps 1/4 inch at most....which isn't much.
